Low Tower Stayed-cable
Bridge, also calls Parts of Stayed-cable Bridge, is
a new-type bridge, it lies between Stayed-cable Bridge
and External-prestressing Box Bridge. The anchorage
zones in saddle support of Low Tower Stayed-cable Bridge
is a significance part of parts of stayed-cable bridge.
It is different from the anchorage zones on the Low
Tower Stayed-cable Bridge, and the saddle support on
the top of the tower of suspension bridges, either.
It has unique structure and design requirements. The
cable saddle of Low Tower Stayed-cable Bridge should
satisfy requirements of replaceablity
of stayed cables, resisting slip and
bearing force at the saddle support.
There
may not be any slip and move when the parallel stay
cables using strands passing through cable saddle are
in working order. At saddle support,
the sheathing of unbonded strands for stay cable
may be peeled off and wash surface oil, that the strands
lying in the anchor and cable saddle are naked. Then
pour high-strength mixture of epoxy iron sand into the
steel pipe of cable saddle and anti-shake area. There
may also set clip inside the pipe to resist slip.
The end anchorages of
Low Tower Stayed-cable Bridge adopt OVM Stay Cable System
Using Strands.
