On April 22, National Astronomical Observatory of China FSAT project’s foundation of tower frame and stay cable back concreting has completed successfully.
Tower frame and back stay cable foundation is very important for installing of stay cable net. Each tower frame foundation will bear a 250KN slanting pressure force. Each stay cable foundation will bear a 200KN slanting tension force. There are totally 20 tower frame foundations and 10 stay cable foundations. The whole 30 foundations consume concrete 1200m3 and steel over 60 tons.
For the corporate efforts of the whole project staff, we successfully completed this mission a week in advance.
